FURRYTALES

This is the tale of Eco Furry DD (Nickname Pavlos)
This is the tale of Eco Furry DD, who was born under a beautiful sleeping willow
one bright and shiny moonlit night, in December 2009. His birthplace, a pretty
but unassuming garden based in Challis Lane, resides quietly in the surrounding
quaint and sleepy English countryside. Yet, it is no ordinary garden for it is
home of the Eco Furries, a magical and mystical community intent on promoting a
very important message. The message being, that we should one and all, do our
very best we can, to look after our magnificent and wonderful world.
In agreement with his eco-furry kin DD decided he would flit and emigrate to the
sunshine state in the USA. This way he and they both felt he could spread forth
the Furry Tale message.
He arrived at Tampa on a Jumbo Jet and hitched a lift to New Port Richey, with
his pals Yanka and Paul. They suggested that he should move in with their very
good friends, Jodi And Bill and their 4 calico cats. They all received him with
open arms and decided to nickname him Pavlos. They promised to take him on lots
of trips across the beautiful and vast USA.
In February'10 he took a trip, in Bill and Jodi's Cherokee plane, to that
magical place called Jekyll Island, in Georgia. Richard met them at the airport
and Pavlos was pleased to be photographed with him. He insisted on taking him
for a ride in his eco-friendly Red Bug Car, which Pavlos thought was fantastic.
He also had dinner in Latitude with Cindy where he cracked jokes and shook hands
with customers and staff. He particularly enjoyed the scrumptious house salad
made of oranges, lemons and vinegar and chomped gaily on the tasty shrimp.
Later on he met Macajaih outside Vincent's Bar. He drank an orange juice and
posed for more photos with Bill, Jodi and Stan. He listened intently as Stan
reminisced and relayed funny and fascinating stories concerning various guests
and events at the hotel. The next day he stopped for a coffee in café Solterre.
A kind lady called Rashema let him sit on her shoulder as he posed for another
photo. She also gave him a huge piece of deliciously dark, mouth watering, rich
and cracking, Mississippi Mud Pie.
In the evening he sat on the hotel porch and had
a little tête-à-tête with a bunch of squirrels. They were hopping and bopping
about in the majestic 100 year old oak tree. When joined them in a cheery dance
he felt his heart fill with joy. Later he gazed dreamily and happily as the
divine sunset settled
on Jekyll River. The colours cascaded from hot pink to scarlet red, blood orange
and deep indigo.
Overwhelmed and breathless, he exclaimed to Bill and Jody "This is the most
beautiful and brilliant
vision I have ever experienced in my life, I can't wait to tell my kin all about
it. I feel they will be
inspired to write another song!". He was also conscious of a story his pal Yanka
had told him about a
lady from Massachusetts who she'd met 2 years prior. The lady had said "When you
see such beauty
you have to believe there is much more to this life, that there must be a God"
Every day on Jekyll, the sun was shining big and strong and Pavlos felt blissful
and brimming with
life. On his last day he went on a bike ride with Bill and posed for a few last
photos outside San Souci
and Old Plantation House. He also visited the alligator pond, all the while
smiling, chatting and flirting
with folk, captivating one and all. Indeed, throughout his trip, no one could
resist him and his merry
ways, he was so charming, cute and entertaining. Most importantly, everyone who
met him promised
they would do all they could to keep our world a magnificent and wonderful
place.
Finally the time came for him to leave. Bill and Jodi had to go back to work and
so he bid his friends
a very fond farewell and what happened next is another story……
